There once was a stripper name Precious
Her lies were very contagious.
The cops bought in
And let the hoax begin
But the charges were totally outrageous.
A drunk stripper started this hoax
Her lineup ID's were a joke.
Despite no DNA
The judge said okay
And civil rights in Durham are revoked.
There once was a DA named Mike
He found a rape hoax he did like.
He made it a case
It was all about race
And justice was royally spiked.
Mike Nifong's a big liar indeed
Three innocents need to be freed.
The cops are jerks
Nifong just smirks
And justice has gone all to seed.
Duke has been hit with a hoax
The like of which is no joke.
Witch hunters abound
But no crimes are found
So now they all just blow smoke.
The state bar of NC is asleep
All the judges are lame sheep.
Murderers run wild
No charges are filed
And life in Durham is dirt cheap.
There once was an editor named Bob
Who did a most horrible job.
He backed a Nifong
All evil and wrong
And the readers were thoroughly robbed.
Editor Bob Ashley is a hack
He just covers Nifong's back.
The Herald-Sun is a joke
It is read by few folk
They should all know the truth has been sacked.
The News is just an observer
No editorials will it deliver.
The DA is a crook
False charges were booked
But sorry the paper is just a bull giver.
The Durhamites have made their vote
Mike Nifong got to gloat.
Durham's gone bad
That's all very sad
But the world will soon take note.
There once was a blogger from Johnsville
Who made his readers quite ill.
He barfed on his blog
And made it a slog
Because now the rhymes are just awful.
