Michael Gaynor needs to stop pandering to Cash Michaels. Michael, people have got the point, you have checked Cash out and he's okay, a fine journalist, in your book. Fine, that's your opinion. Move on.
But, if you are now going to start completely "reprinting" Cash Michaels' columns in your own "work" you will have to start paying Cash a royalty. Or else formally declare yourself a splog.1
Here, reprinted in its entirety, is Mr. Michaels' 9-14-06 column addressing that hit piece:A snippet and a link will serve you just fine. Why should anyone read or link to Mr. Michaels directly if you are now his syndicator?
Also, here is some more friendly advice. Please shut your mouth regarding giving legal advice to the three innocent defendants in this case. Their team of attorneys have a better view of the situation and will make the best decisions. Lobbing half-baked ideas over the public transom will not help.
