Convicted embezzler Kim Roberts, a/k/a Kim Pittman, a/k/a "Nikki" is a key witness in the Duke lacrosse rape hoax. At the trial what story will Ms. Roberts tell?
PB at forums.TalkLeft.com looks at this question:
1. Good Sammaritan 3/14
Kim's first story combines her 9-11 call with her statements to Shelton. In these stories she presents herself as a disinterested passerby and a good Sammaritan who came across a women who was "drunk or high" and offered her a lift because the woman was being tauted by racist Duke boys, and she feared what they would do to her.
2. Witness to No Rape 3/20
Outed as the second dancer, Kim claims that the rape story is a crock and that the other dancer was not out of her sight for "five minutes" when she "would not leave."
3. Written Statement 3/22 - I forgot one thing.
In support of her oral claim to have been with the other dancer for all but five minutes, Roberts writes down a sequence of events that has her leaving the party before the other dancer to go to the car where she changed clothes before being told that the other dancer was passed out in the back. The story conforms well to story #2 until we get to the strange addendum at the end of the story where she adds, mysteriously, the first time Precious came to the car she left because she felt there was more money to be made."
The addendum suggests that there were in fact two time periods during which the two dancers were separated, not one, as she appears to have reported to Himan. Roberts may have been aware at that point of Jason Bissey's account of the accuser heading back toward the house for her shoe.
4. Juan Williams interview - I forgot two things (June 14, 2006).
Juan Williams claims that in an interview with him Roberts claimed to have returned to the house in search of the other dancer before being told that the dancer was passed out on the ground behind the house. It is interesting to note that Bissey's stories in the paper hinted that both dancers had gone back into the house. and that the alley was quiet and empty for a time.

There is also a fifth story regarding Ms. Roberts' role in this hoax. The one involving what happened to Ms. Mangum's money. That story should also be presented at the trial. See:

Who Robbed Crystal Gail Mangum?
Update:
Conversely, which story will Ms. Mangum tell about Ms. Roberts at the trial? She has four of her own.
> Ms. Roberts is a good sammaritan.
> She's a thief:
Durham police officer Gwendolyn Sutton mentions the robbery in her official report:> She's a very big thief:"She also said that Nikki had stolen her money and cell phone."
She told a robbery story to Officer Willie Barfield who transported Ms. Mangum from Durham Access to Duke Hospital:> Ms. Roberts is an accomplice in the sexual assault and a thief:The woman told Barfield that "Nikki" had taken all her belongings, including $2,000 in cash obtained by dancing at the party, her cell phone and her identification.
Ms. Mangum told the sexual assault nurse at Duke hospital, Tara Levicy, that she had been robbed. From defense motion:she told the S.A.N.E nurse in training that Kim Pittman assisted the players in her alleged sexual assault and that Kim Pittman stole all her "money and everything."
So four versions of events for Ms. Roberts and four different stories for Ms. Mangum, that makes sixteen possible outcomes that might be heard at trial as a minimum, regarding the role of Ms. Roberts, or two liars to the fourth power (24).
