Duke Lacrosse Scandal: "Reporters" are blowing the mission

In addition to being hypocrites regarding the policy of protecting the identity of Crystal Gail Mangum; news organizations are also not reporting important facts and basic information about the alleged Duke lacrosse rape.

For example, where is a floor plan or interior photos of the alleged crime scene? The alleged gang rape took place in a bathroom at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd., Durham, NC, on March 14th. Every news organization has showed us numerous pictures of the exterior of the house.

Duke Lacrosse House - 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. - where are interior photos or a floorplan?

It has been two months since the crime. Where is one photo of the bathroom? If it's impossible to get interior photos then why hasn't a simple floorplan for the house been published?

The sexual assault of Crystal Gail Mangum reportedly took place for 30 minutes in a bathroom of a house occupied by three captains (Matt Zash, Daniel Flannery and David Evans) of the Duke lacrosse team. So how many bathrooms are in the house? Where are the bedrooms and who occupied each one? Where is the room that the dancers performed in? Where was the beer keg and alcohol located? How private and how large was the bathroom where the attack took place? Forty plus lacrosse players were drinking alcohol all evening at the party, where did they go to the bathroom?

Ms. Mangum says she was "pulled into a bathroom." Where was she pulled from? These are all basic questions that a sketch floorplan could help the public understand the story better.

Does anyone do basic crime reporting anymore? Do "journalists" now just stand by their phones waiting for sources to leak them information?
